Koh Lanta is located in Krabi, Southern Thailand. It consists of two islands: Koh Lanta Noi and Koh Lanta Yai. The main tourist place is Koh Lanta Yai which have a wide range of accommodation. Koh Lanta Yai has a 30 kms long beach with many bays and the popular strectch is along the west coast with sunset coasts such as Kaw Kwang Beach, Klong Dao Beach, Pra Ae Beach (Long Beach), Klong Kong Beach, Klong Nin Beach, Ba Kantieng Beach, Bamboo Bay and at the end of the island is Koh Lanta Marine National Park office where the lighthouse is located.

The commercial Center of Koh Lanta Yai is Saladan Village which is full of shops, banks, restaurants, traval agents and the location where the ferry pier operates to the surrounding areas.

Klong Dao Beach ---- The northern beach on Ko Lanta, with a sweeping long bay stretching approximately about 3 kms. Klong Dao is good place for swimming, relaxing on the beach with golden sand. There is a wide range of accommodation offering from standard hotels, bungalows or resorts with going rates suitable for all budgets.

Long Beach or Phra-Ae Beach ----The next beach from Klong Dao ---- with a magnificient beach of 4 kms in length and has beautiful crystal clear water without rocks suitable for swimming.

Klong Kong Beach ---- The beach here is golden sands doted withshady palms and with several rocky patches. Klong Kong is not suitable for swimming but good for relaxing with picturesque sunset. Along this beach you can find reasonable cheap bungalows for a perfect stay.

Klong Nin Beach ---- Klong Nin is one of the most popular beach in Koh Lanta. It is a few kms long beach with emeral clear water and white sands. The beach offer shady shelter from coconut and palm trees.

Ba Kan Tieng Beach --- Almost at the southern tip of the island, Ba Kantieng Beach is one of the most beautiful beach in Koh Lanta. The beach has stretch of white sands and crystal clear waters, surrounded by the high mountains of the National Park.

Last Beach or Bamboo Bay ---- Bamboo Bay is situated at the last beach before the Lanta Marine National Pak Office. It is a short beach with white sand and clear crystal water. You can find a few simple resorts to stay.
