What goes on here :
Located offshore at Ao Nang Beach are a few islands with beautiful white coral sand beaches and crystal clear water. Koh Poda, Koh Tub and the famous Koh Kai are the closest ones and can be easily reached by long tail boat or speed boat. Memorable Pranang Cave is shrouded in mythology and mystery. It’s beautiful white sandy beach is quite a popular spot with sunlovers. The stalactites and stalagmites are one outstanding feature.
1. Phranang Cave Beach --- spiritual tour & swimming.
2. Chicken Island --- for sightseeing.
3. Tup Island --- for snorkelling and exploring.
4. Poda Island --- a place to relax, swimming & picnic site.
Chicken island got its name from a bizarre rock formation which resembles the head of a chicken. One end of the island consists of steep cliffs, while the other end has beautiful beaches along a peninsula. This peninsula gets flooded at high tide, creating a small island. An excellent snorkelling opportunity with it’s rich coral life. At Tup Island if tide permits you will be able to walk along a white and sandy causeway joining the neighbouring island, This admirable scenery is highly popular for photography, exploring, sunbathing and swimming providing memorable highlights for a visit. |
