- You can fly to Krabi ( Koh Lanta is under Krabi Province ) or Trang, you can even take a train from Bangkok to Trang and transfer by minivan or boat to Koh Lanta.

Ferry service is available daily only in high season from Klong Jilad Pier ( Krabi Town ) to Saladan Pier( Koh Lanta ). The trip take about 2 hours. Purchase your tickets from any travel agents.

Minivan transfer leaves every 1 hour from Krabi Town. Travel through Highway 4 and then ferry crossover with the van from Ban Hua Hin to Koh Lanta Noi and follow by the second ferry crossover to Koh Lanta Yai. The minivan can also pick you up from Krabi Airport
( pre-advance arrangement ). The service run daily from 07.00am -05.00 pm. Alternatively, you can also get a taxi from Krabi Airport to Koh Lanta.

- Minivan service from Trang to Koh Lanta is available at the Trang Train Station. During high season you can get the ferry from Had Yao by Tiger Line Travel. The trip takes about one and a half hour.
